Hi all Walkers.  The next Saturday walk is on Saturday 24th July.  We will meet at 0930 at French Weir cafe by the ramp access & COACH building (North side).  (NOTE: ParkRun starts again this Saturday so French Weir may be busy, hence not meeting at the Longrun Meadow barn!) See website for map of meeting location.  I will be the one with the rucsac by the ramp. 

This walk will be to Staplegrove and then the countryside to the northwest and west of Taunton, approx 6 miles.  The route will be paths, grass, gravel and some short road sections.  Please bring drinks (and snacks if you wish) as there are no facilties en route.

Walk this Saturday July 10th, leaving from the Canal side Car Park at Creech St Michael at 9.30 am. Nearest postcode is TA3 5PW, (Follow the brown signpost, turning left immediatley after turning into Bull St, off the bend by the river bridge at Southern end of Creech. https://goo.gl/maps/64wNUCBLZA8kunh27 )  Parking is free. Aim is to walk out and back along the canal towpath to the east, hopefully making it to the tea shop at Maunsel which is a round trip of about 8 miles, but suggest bring a drink / snack in case we don't make it that far.
